Hanalei Bay claims the Santa Cruz 27 Nationals crown on Monterey Bay

There's something special about watching a championship sail home on familiar waters, and Hanalei Bay just made that moment its own. The club claimed the Santa Cruz 27 Nationals crown right on Monterey Bay, a victory that feels as much about place as performance. This isn't a trophy for quiet clubhouses; it's for the crew that knows how to read the wind and chase the horizon. Hanalei Bay embodies that blend of laid-back grit and elevated ambition, and this win proves it. For anyone dreaming of that same island spirit on land, check out our piece on elevated island living at the new 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. It's the same adventurous soul, just with room service.
