A Life Well Lived: Celebrating Ralph Minc's Island Spirit

The Pacific rolled in that morning, just as it always had, carrying the same salt and rhythm Ralph Minc knew by heart. A longtime Santa Barbara local, he lived his 79 years not as a spectator, but as a man fully immersed, passionate athlete, loving husband, father, and grandfather. He passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025, a date that feels fitting for a spirit so fiercely independent and celebratory. His was a life well lived, not in quiet corners, but out on the water, on the trails, and around tables filled with family and community. Ralph's island spirit wasn't about where he was born; it was how he chose to show up every single day. We raise a glass to that.
