Searching for a Lost Treasure: Help Find a Sentimental Ring at Poʻipū

Somewhere between the tide's reach and the sand, a story changed on the evening of August 11. A traveler's sentimental ring slipped away at Poʻipū Beach, right along the waterline near the turtles. It's the kind of loss that isn't just about the object, but the memory woven into it. We're sharing this plea because community matters here. If you have a metal detector that braves wet sand or shallow water, or you know someone on Kauaʻi who does lost-ring recovery, reach out to the original poster. Time is the real current to beat. For more on how this island pulls together, our piece "Kauaʻi Rises: Embracing Recovery and Resilience Post-Hurricane Lowell" captures that same spirit. Let's help bring this one home.
