Celebrating Excellence: Hanalei's Steve Murphy Earns Top PGA Honors
A win for Hanalei is a win for the soul of island golf. Steve Murphy, Director of Golf at the Princeville Prince Course, has earned two elite honors from the Aloha Section of the PGA: 2010 Professional of the Year and Merchandiser of the Year for Resorts. That's a double nod to both his leadership and his ability to curate an experience that feels authentically Kaua'i. The Professional of the Year award weighs a career's worth of work, with special attention to the last five years, so this recognition carries real weight. It speaks to a grounded, community-first approach that elevates the game without losing its laid-back spirit.
