What do you think so far? Natural yarns, natural dyes

| I’ve been working on my brand for the past few years, collaborating with local artisans who weave natural fibres and use berries, nuts, and plants to dye the yarns. This is what we’ve made so far! I would love to hear what you think. We’ve been using materials like raw peace silk and pineapple yarn, and natural dyes from things like coconut skin, gallnuts, and blueberries to achieve these colours. For example, the first shirt you see uses a pineapple and raw peace silk blend fabric dyed using coconut skin and was made by a family in the Philippines. Still working on branding but anyone who has experience in brand development, please feel free to leave a comment! It’s been a tedious process since it’s been challenging to find the right people to work with, however I’m just happy that my bison is slowly coming to life ! I’ve started an IG page so please feel free to follow to follow the process! :) @forageland_ [link] [comments] |
