Does anyone else get completely paralyzed when trying to find a new product? I spent 3 hours last night just looking for a moisturizer

Okay so maybe I’m just bad at this but I genuinely cannot be the only one lol

Last night I needed to replace my moisturizer (ran out, nothing fancy). Opened Amazon, typed “moisturizer for oily skin” and suddenly I have 200+ results, half of them with 4.8 stars and thousands of reviews, and I still ended up closing the tab and going to bed without buying anything. It’s been 3 days and I still haven’t replaced it 😭

The thing that kills me is that every time I try to research I end up in a rabbit hole, this one has niacinamide but someone in the comments says it broke them out, this other one is great but only if you’re not using retinol, this one is loved by everyone but a derm on TikTok said the formula is meh…

I’m not looking for a medical-grade routine or anything, I just want someone to tell me “given your skin type and concerns, buy THIS one” and be done with it in like 2 minutes.

Does this happen to you guys too or am I just chronically indecisive 😅 How do you actually make a decision without spending your entire evening on it? Do you just pick something and hope for the best?
