Help me! Going outside the country (china) for the first time alone

Hi everyone so I am going from Delhi to shanghai for the first time for work (delhi to Hong Kong to shanghai)

and I am getting really scared because I will be going and coming alone

my sir will come in between he is coming late and leaving early

I have only been to an airport 2 and with friends who have travelled multiple times so they knew what they are doing

can someone please share what is the process what are the things I should keep in mind

also regarding the fast immigration I have heard that it takes 20-25 days. and I am leaving next week

so should I fill the form or not
