3.5 days in Montenegro without a car
Hey! we planning a 3.5-day trip to Montenegro in early May, flying in/out of Podgorica. We’re thinking of using Kotor as our base and relying on public transport.
Here’s our rough itinerary:
Half day: Kotor Old Town + fortress (if possible)
One day: Perast, Kotor coast, and sunset at the cable car
One day: Budva Old Town + Sveti Stefan
Last day: considering Lake Skadar
Would it be realistic to visit Lake Skadar as a day trip using public transport?
Also, does this itinerary sound manageable without a car, or are we trying to fit in too much?
If anyone has visited recently, we’d love to hear your itinerary as well!
Thanks a lot 🙏
