How Do I Stop My Face From Looking Orange When I Apply Foundation? :(

This makeup journey I've been on has left me feeling so discouraged. I'm new to makeup but one consistent problem I've ran into has been that as soon as I apply foundation, I look \*insanely\* orange. I didn't have this problem when I got shade matched at the makeup store. There, my makeup looked BEAUTIFUL. Then I come home and apply the exact same shade I was matched with, and it couldn't have looked worse and more orange 😢 (It was Mac Studio Fix Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in shade NC 45 btw) And a few months before this, I used Maybelline Fit Me Matte foundation in the shade 334. Again, extremely orange and unflattering. Perhaps that shade was too dark for me, but the Mac situation left me perplexed considering that it worked fine at the makeup store (It was Ulta btw).

Since the Maybelline Fit Me foundation doesn't have silicones in it and the Mac one is literally \*filled\* with silicones (Silicones break me out 😢), I'm gonna go with Maybelline and try to find a shade that will work. I'm going for the shade 332, 330, and 322 and will have to see what works from there (Maybe I'll have to mix a few shades!). SOMETHING is BOUND to work. I hope that I no longer have to deal with this "orange issue" but on the offchance that I run into it again, how do I fix it? Do I have to use a color corrector? I'm absolutely clueless so all advice and help is welcomed 💖💖

PS. This is my skincare routine:

**Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser**

**Good Molecules Niacinamide Brightening Toner**

**Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Serum**

**Good Molecules Lightweight Daily Moisturizer**
