Best value beach resort destinations for 10 days in mid-August?

Hey everyone,

my partner and I are trying to plan a 10-day beach vacation and could really use some recommendations.

We are traveling from Germany

The annoying part is that because of work, my partner can only travel in mid-August, so we already know we’re stuck with one of the more expensive times of year.

Our budget is around €1,300 per person, and we’re basically looking for the best value beach/resort destination for that price.

What we want:

• mostly just a relaxed beach holiday • ideally some kind of resort / hotel setup • warm water is important • preferably Mediterranean, so not really interested in Atlantic destinations • we don’t care much about nightlife, big cities, sightseeing, etc. • if the resort food isn’t amazing, it would be great if there are cheap local restaurants nearby • we’re open to non-European destinations too if the value is much better • but we’d prefer to avoid places anywhere near the current Iran conflict / broader regional instability 

So far we’ve mostly looked at the usual suspects like:

• Crete • Albania 

Any places you’d recommend that fit this well?
