confused between caregiver path vs beauty career for Europe
Hi everyone,
I’m from Nepal and I have 6+ years of experience working as a beautician (mainly lashes, skincare, and other beauty services). My goal is to go abroad and build a better career and income.
I previously tried to go to the United Arab Emirates, but due to an old healed TB scar, I couldn’t pass the medical requirements. So now I’m exploring other options.
From my research, it seems like countries such as Germany or Poland don’t usually hire beauticians directly from Nepal.
So I’m considering a different path:
• Do a caregiver course in Nepal • Go to Europe as a caregiver • Then later try to switch into a beauty-related job But I’m unsure if this is realistic.
My questions:
1. Is going as a caregiver a good entry path to Europe? 2. How difficult is it to switch jobs later (to beauty field)? 3. Would it be smarter to continue building my beauty career and try another route instead? I’m feeling quite confused because this decision involves a lot of time and money.
I would really appreciate any honest advice, especially from people who have gone through similar paths.
Thank you 🙏
