A spreadsheet programmed to solve Sudoku in VBA solved this in 1.082 seconds on a Mac, and 625 milliseconds on a PC. Almost half the time.
Using different puzzles as input the performance ratio was fairly consistent. The PC uses an I9 desktop CPU and the Mac is using an M4Pro.
