what applications do you use to organize your photos?

I posted a similar question a while back and got a ton of awesome feedback. I've since updated my workflow and it's a lot better, but I am still struggling with how to manage my decade's worth of photographs in a way that works for me. I'll put an overview of what I've tried and why I don't like each of them (there aren't many), and if anyone has a app they use that might work for me, I'd love to look into it. Thanks!

  • Adobe Bridge
    • Pros
      • Free
      • Batch rename ability
    • Cons
      • I don't like having to manage my files in folders. The main reason is because I can't add the photos to multiple albums without having duplicates of the files.
      • Moving files and managing duplicates is very difficult.
  • Apple Photos
    • Pros
      • pretty good duplicate finding abilities
      • the ability to add photos to multiple albums without needing to duplicate the files
      • I have other programs that interact with Apple Libraries, so I can edit the Raw files without having to export them
    • Cons
      • Stuck with Apple products and once I move on to another company (which I will once this computer dies), then I am stuck with programs that aren't compatible anymore.
      • Little experience things like not having the ability to expand all folders
      • having limited access to the files on the back end to make sure they're named correctly, etc.
  • Lightroom - Regardless of everything, I just don't want to give Adobe any of my money.

Thank yo so much in advance.
