Advice please: filming in a small space

Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if this is the correct space for these questions, so apologies if not.
I'm looking for advice about filming video (using Sony A7iii) in a 118.5 sq ft space.
I have a 50mm prime, which doesn't work well in this space for distanced shots (I need to film myself working from a distance), as the crop is too tight. Can you recommend what lenses/focal lengths would work best in this space?
Also, the lighting is those standard overhead strip lighting you get in offices. Any ideas about whether or not I need to use a filter on my camera if I'm going to be colour grading in Final Cut Pro?
I'm right at the beginning of understanding all this, so I deeply appreciate any points in the right direction, including direct advice, but also "go here to learn more"! :)
Thanks so much.
