Where is a good Indian grocery store on Oahu? I'm looking for spices.
Our take
If you're on Oahu and passionate about Indian cuisine, you're in luck! There are several fantastic Indian grocery stores where you can find the spices you need to elevate your homemade dishes, including lamb saag. Amchur and kasuri methi are essential ingredients for authentic flavor, and while you may have been piecing together your shopping from various stores, a one-stop shop can save you time and enhance your culinary adventures. For residents in Wahiawa, consider visiting stores like India Market or Aloha Indian Grocery, both of which offer a great selection of spices and ingredients. Whether you're looking to explore local favorites or stock up on essentials, these stores will surely satisfy your cravings. Happy cooking!
I love Indian food and have been trying to make dishes at home. I usually find what I need bouncing between different grocery stores, but it would be nice to know of a one stop shop. Specifically, I would like to make some lamb saag and the few recipes I see call for amchur and/or kasuri methi. I'm in Wahiawa if anyone knows something close, but I'm willing to drive wherever. Thanks!
