Building on year-over-year data, this survey aims to inform policymakers and community groups about the evolving needs and challenges faced by locals. Participation is voluntary and does not include remuneration, but your input is invaluable in shaping future initiatives and legislation. They are now doing a new survey for 2026 and looking for folks who live in Hawaiʻi to participate. There is no remuneration for taking the survey, but the data is used by policy makers and various groups around Hawaiʻi to guide future work and lawmaking.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with this survey, its staff, or the office working on it. I just think it's a cool effort and hope that it can inform future work to support folks who live here.
