Gogatsu Ningyo / May Doll / Boys Day Doll

Our take

Are you on the hunt for a Gogatsu Ningyo, also known as a Boys Day Doll, in Oahu? These beautiful dolls celebrate Japan's Children's Day and are cherished for their cultural significance. While they are often found at Marukai, sourcing them locally can be a challenge. If you have any leads or recommendations for where to find these stunning dolls on the island, your insights would be greatly appreciated. Share your knowledge and help bring this piece of Japanese tradition closer to home!

Does anyone know where these are sold on Oahu? I’ve only ever seen at Marukai! Trying to bring one in from Japan seems to be very difficult so trying to source locally.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
