Bioluminescent mushroom, possibly M. manipularis, found on Windward side of Kaua'i, growing on decaying Strawberry Guava branches.
Our take

| If you are out on a moonless night, around wet decaying wood, try turn off all lights, once your eyes have adjust to the darkness, see if you notice anything glowing. These photos were taken at different exposures and recently tuned up in Lightroom. I noticed some little snails crawling on some of them. Maybe the light attracts them? Anyone have any other bioluminescence encounters or know anything unique about these mushies?
